Just wanted to do a quick update on the Tuesdays with Dorie pick from last Tuesday, Tall and Creamy Cheesecake, from Dorie's cookbook Baking From My Home To Yours, picked by Anne of AnneStrawberry for TWD. We loved it! It is a great basic cheesecake recipe, very fluffy and lighter tasting than what I was expecting. My husband does not like cheesecake at all and wouldn't try it but everyone else who tried it loved it, even my picky kiddos :)
I love 'fun' cheesecake recipes and usually make one cheesecake each year around the holidays. Some of the favorites that stick out in my mind are chocolate covered cherry cheesecake, chocolate fudge oreo cheesecake, and my favorite cheesecake flavors ever would have to be key lime, caramel apple, and pumpkin! Mmmm!

I love the Hello Kitty plate - especially with the cheesecake on it! And what great flavor variations you come up with for cheesecake - they all sound great.
I can't believe your hubby doesn't eat cheesecake. I'm actually not a big fan either... but I'll tolerate it, just not something I crave. It looks yummy!
