Today's Tuesdays with Dorie recipe is Irish Soda Bread!
Here is my loaf before baking. I've made Irish Soda Bread quite a few times before but I think this was the simplest recipe!
I added 1 cup of raisins. I love caraway seeds in my Irish Soda Bread but the kids and picky husband do not so I left them off of this loaf.
Sorry for the super short post this week but we are having company, and I of course waited until the last minute to make my bread! This bread was absolutely delicious warm with some butter, even picky husband said it was "really good" and that's a big compliment from him :) One of the best Irish Soda Breads I've had!

Your bread looks delicious. I also added raisins. Non-traditional but I loved Irish Soda Bread "loaded with something'. Caraway seeds. Wow. Never would have thought to try that. Nice work. Mary Hirsch http://www.lightsonbrightnobrakes.com/
Your loaf is beautiful!
Your bread looks delicious. I'll have to try it with raisins or other dried fruit the next time I make it.
Your bread looks exactly like it should...yours is a perfect Irish Soda Bread.

You did a wonderful job! It looks very pretty. I just had a slice of mine, toasted. This bread is really enjoyable.
A perfectly delicious looking loaf! I did one with raisins and sugar…I happen to like my soda bread a little sweet for breakfast. Nicely done!
This was definitely super simple - which was all good in my book!
